Another flight #1! Seat 18Just is one of the best economy seats on this 777 (confirmed on FlyerTalk) as it is only 2 seats instead of 3 with lots of bulkhead leg room, and still had power (both normal outlet and USB); only downside is that the personal screen is a little far away, though not enough to bother me.
Nice bright lounge in YYZ; lunch (and alcohol) are served starting at 11:00 (actually the alcohol is self service)
Won’t even be leaving the airport, as I have a 6 hour room booked inside SIN airport (S$47/US$38 for budget single, i.e. shared bathroom)

Interestingly, YYZ now has a Nexus security lane even at the international (non-US) departures, at least in T1 from where AC flies.
The Maple Leaf lounge puts out lunch (and alcohol) at 11am, so I’ll have 15-30 minutes to enjoy that before heading to the gate.

This is my 3 day park pass. They take a digital photo of you at the entrance and voila, a personalized pass! This one was a 3 day pass for US$40 – good for any 3 days in a 7 day period. A one day pass costs US$20, and there is a 7 day pass good for a month as well.
Had dinner and a shower here after my half day in Hong Kong yesterday. This is the best of the 3 *A lounges at HKG – the SG (Singapore Airlines) lounge is nice but windowless and equivalent to their Gold lounge in SIN, ie not the full biz lounge I expected bad on the name
Very hazy day, zero sun or views.
Didn’t sleep at all – watched a movie instead (The Dark Knight Rises) which was almost as long as the flight.
Put my bag in left luggage (HK$10/US$1.30 per hour, max HK$100 per 24 hours) since I can’t recheck it until 18:30 which is 4hrs before the flight.
I need some coffee and then dim sum.
In the Singapore Airlines SilverKris lounge (the biz and first class lounge, which is oddly named add it’s a higher class/standard than their Gold lounge, which is still a step up from a United Club lounge)
I ignored the closer contract lounge to which checkin counter had given me a pass.
Even though it’s early, I ate breakfast so I can sleep on the plane.
