While there are only like 3 planes here in Guam, I can see it being more handy in Hong Kong

Missed Halloween, now boarding flight 4 of 10 GUM to HKG

Slept quite a few hours on the last leg… Went from gmt-10 to gmt+10 on last flight (now Sat eve here in GUM after crossing intl dateline), will end up gmt+8 in HKG

Sun is moving roughly twice as fast…

5 hours into the flight (as I write this, not when posted) daylight looks centered on the flight (I watched sunrise earlier from YYZ to EWR).

Breakfast and lunch in biz, though no entree choice for lunch!?

Flight 2 of 10… EWR -> HNL

Lie flat biz (UA BusinessFirst) seat using an upgrade, 11hrs…
Followed by just under 24hr layover, meeting a friend for dinner.

Low lying fog over lakes and rivers in New Jersey.

5 nights. 2 countries. 2 cities.10 flights.

Sitting comfy in Thai lounge at HKG

After a day tootling around Hong Kong, inc a quick trip up to the peak, I’m safely ensconced in the comfort of the Thai lounge with tasty snacks (tom ka gai with extra fresh chilies) and a mango screwdriver.
And waiting for my turn at a refreshing shower.
Also still awaiting an upgrade – I might get the last seat in biz.
